Juliette Joubert

A graphic designer by training, it was in 2020 that I decided to resume studies at the Center de Céramique Bonsecours, in Montreal. An urgent need to touch and explore matter. At the same time as my career change, I maintain a personal practice in visual arts. Here too, it is through the material that I express myself, via collages. I like to take the time to hunt for, cut out, assemble old papers to create “visual poetry”. My ceramic practice therefore lies between these two exploratory worlds that I like to bring together, in order to create a unique universe: colorful, naive and spontaneous, awakening our childish soul with lightness and carefreeness.
